In 2022 - The inaugural Three Putt Cup saw two teams of 8 (Pink vs. Blue) square off against each other over 5 rounds of golf at Highland Gate in May 2022.

In 2023, following qualification through the year long Fried Egg Cup, two new Teams (Red vs. Blue) gathered to play 5 rounds at the spectacular Arabella Golf Club. It was Epic. It was a neck to neck race all the way through 5 rounds. Sunday Singles was an intense affair as once again the Teams shared the spoils 4-4 for the day, with the very final match of the tournament deciding the overall result. As the captains halved their match, it meant Team Blue hung on for a ONE POINT win after all was said and done.

2024 saw, for the first time, the previous year’s winning Captain (Estian) retain his Captaincy of the Blue Team. Following another year long cycle of FEC qualifying the teams were set with Rob being picked as Estian’s VC and Gert (Captain Team Red) picking Stix as his VC.

The 2024 TPC took place, once again, at the breath-taking Highland Gate Estate just outside Dullstroom. It was an incredible event with some super tight matches!

In the end Estian’s Team Blue were too strong for Gert’s Team Red with the final result being 14.5 to Blue vs 9.5 to Red.

The 2025 Three Putt Cup took place at Pezula, Simola Country Club and Goose Valley from 23 to 27 October 2025. It was another EPIC battle with lots of ups and downs!

In the end, once again, Estian’s Team Blue took it, sealed by a dramatic chip-in on 18 by Sir Chippie MaCrosty on the 18th to half his match with Wykie! The final result was 13.5 to Blue vs 10.5 to Red.

The 2026 Three Putt Cup takes place at Gowrie Farm from 23 - 25 October 2026.
