The inaugural Three Putt Cup saw two teams of 8 (Pink vs. Blue) square off against each other over 5 rounds of golf at Highland Gate in May 2022.

In 2023, following qualification through the year long Fried Egg Cup, two new Teams (Red vs. Blue) gathered to play 5 rounds at the spectacular Arabella Golf Club

It was Epic.

It was a neck to neck race all the way through 5 rounds. Day 1 ended 4-4. Day 2 ended 8.5-7.5 with Team Blue (Captained by Estian Fourie) taking the narrowest of leads into the final Day’s Singles action.

Sunday Singles was an intense affair as once again the Teams shared the spoils 4-4 for the day, with the very final match of the tournament deciding the overall result. As the captains halved their match, it meant Team Blue hung on for a ONE POINT win after all was said and done.

The MVPs were Gert Erasmus (Blue, 5 points) and Walter Galloway (Red, 4.5 points)
